Qualified IAPT Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP)
Permanent
Full time: 37.5 hours per week
NHS fixed point B5 +2yrs: £29,180 per annum

Are you a qualified, or nearly qualified PWP?
Are you looking for a supportive team, in which to learn and develop as a practitioner?
This role will be based within Talking Therapies Manchester, which is an NHS Step 2 IAPT provider and Single Point of Access for IAPT Talking Therapies in Manchester. You will work alongside other PWPs, e-Therapists and Counsellors within a stepped care model to provide a range of NICE-approved low intensity interventions for common mental health problems. Treatment will be delivered through a range of modalities including face-to-face work, telephone therapy, eTherapy and facilitating structured groups such as our Mood Management, or Overcoming Worry groups.
Successful candidates will be skilled in delivering low intensity therapy, with the ability to organise and prioritise their own workload. You will have successfully completed an approved IAPT PWP Post Graduate Certificate (or be near to qualification) and must be BPS or BABCP registered. Our service offers a supportive environment to nearly or newly qualified PWPs, enabling you to develop in the role, alongside a dedicated and compassionate team.
We can provide excellent opportunities for ongoing personal and professional development through regular supervision with High Intensity Therapists, personal development plans, and expansive training opportunities, including Senior PWP roles, Long Term Conditions training, and Mindfulness Practitioner training.
