We have been retained to appoint an experienced QHSE / SHEQ Supervisor or Manager, to lead a small team within a well-established, growing company.
The successful candidate will have a strong quality focus, as well as being IOSH or NEBOSH qualified, and have experience in implementing and maintaining ISO systems and accreditations.

You will be the type of person who likes to feel part of a small, close-knit team who tale what they do seriously while not taking themselves seriously.
While not essential, a background in plastics injection moulding or manufacture would be an advantage.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Control and manage the ISO system
- Identify areas for improvement
- Ensure all product certification requirements are met
- Implement, manage and review the strategic QHSE plan
- Development and implementation of new procedures and processes
- Development and implementation of new internal policy statements
- Ensure all safety and environmental incidents are investigated and reported to the necessary authorities and implement recommendations
- Identify areas for improvement
- Audit the quality system
- Create, implement and maintain QHSE procedures and manuals to ensure regulatory compliance
- Management of internal and external audits including closing out audit findings
- Identify, develop and implement quality improvement initiatives and plans so that overall quality levels are continuously improved
- Manage inspection process and procedures
- Manage the environmental system, ensure legal and regulatory compliance and drive environmental improvements
- Set process and inspection standards for production and ensure they are adhered to
- Coach employees to support their development
Skills and experience:
- Good standard of education
- QHSE background is essential
- NEBOSH and IOSH accreditation must be up to date
- Other qualification in quality, ISO system management and global safety awareness
- Strong management and leadership skills
- High standard of accuracy and attention to detail
- Development and delivery of QHSE training
- Managing ISO standard management systems
- Conducting audits and maintaining audit management systems
- Good working knowledge and demonstrable competence in Microsoft Office packages
- ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001/ ISO 45001 standards and audit experience
Hours of work: Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 4:30pm, and Friday 8:00am to 3:30pm.
