Scandura supplies seals and gaskets into the most critical of supply chains in the UK and Europe.
Scandura is a member of the Avon Group and has operated from the current site since 1956. Scandura’s 24,000ft² production and office facility is located in St James Road, Corby.
Scandura are looking for a QHSE Manager with previous experience within an manufacturing environment.
Working Hours will be Monday to Thursday 8.30 to 17.00 and Friday 8.30 to 13,00.
Experience required:
· Experience with AIAG, ISO 16949, PRAP & APQP
· Experience using CMM machinery
· Ideally you will have experience in a rubber moulding back ground and experience in an automotive production role.
Your Duties will include :
- Managing the QHSE functions
- Driving compliance and performance across the standards to achieve improvements in product quality , HS compliance and environmental improvements
- Manage the documentation and internal audits for all systems , currently ISO 9001: 2015, ISO 14001 with 45001 being a future system requirement
- Proactively champion QHSE best practise throughout the business
- Work closely with customers , supplier and departmental managers to deliver to contractual quality targets
- Manage and develop QHSE staff to achieve objectives
- Manage budgets and drive improvements
- Lead investigations into non-compliance through route cause analysis and implement corrective actions
- Have a hands on approach to production quality and continuous improvement projects
- Drive environmental performance including consumables , energy and wastes
- Work closely as part of the Senior Management team to achieve business objectives and targets through QHSE processes
