Job description
We’re looking for a Test Manager to join us in Bradford.
Within this role, you will join an Oracle ERP Cloud transformation project on a 12 month fixed term contract basis, with potential to become permanent.
What will you be doing?
- Lead test preparation and oversee test activity which will include defining scope/scenarios, ensuring data is ready and dependencies are understood and in-place, daily reporting of progress and management and resolution of defects.
- Manage the process of raising and resolving test defects in a structured manner and provide solutions
- Co-ordination of project resources for testing activities
We tend to look for people with:
Essential
- Proven experience as a Test Manager with demonstrable experience of successful testing and product delivery
- Experience of working across and co-ordinating with multiple teams within scalable organisations
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Strong time/activity management to ensure plan is run to meet deadlines
- Experience with test tools such as Jira or similar
- Ability to run tests in a time sensitive environment and demonstrate how to capture key test results / issues early on in the testing cycle
- Ability to create a test plan which takes into account data requirements, test script requirements, resource allocation and planning
- Support the design and development test scenarios/scripts for functional testing
- Knowledge and experience with creating test scenarios / user stories, test cases and tracking them through the end-to-end process
Desirable
- Experience working on Oracle ERP Cloud projects
- Professional Testing qualification such as ISTQB or equivalent
