JOB PURPOSE
To ensure receiving, in-process and final QC inspection of goods received, assembled and tested in Tendeka Vanguard House is completed and documented as per Tendekas quality procedures and applicable standards, and support QHSSE department as and when required.

TENDEKA COMPETENCE REQUIREMENTS
Throughout the course of employment in the role, the post holder must demonstrate their competence by successfully completing the following Units of Competence within the Tendeka CMS:
PERSONAL QUALITIES
KEY ACTIVITIES
- To carry out QC inspection activities on incoming goods, including:
- Assuming responsibility for goods receiving process
- Review of product traceability documentation and certification
- Completion of QC Inspection Reports and Logs, including recording on the QHSSE database
- Completion of incoming goods transactions in ERP
- Coordination of measuring devices calibration (calibration log, certificates and device ID checks)
- Issuing of concession requests and non-conformance reports related to incoming goods QC inspection, assembly and test process at Vanguard House.
- To carry out in-process QC inspection as required and ensure traceability is retained for components assembled and tested in-house at Vanguard House.
- To witness or complete final inspection of products at supplier location, if required (includes travel to supplier locations)
- To be allocating goods in stock locations post inspection and updating ERP.
- To participate in Non-conformance management process.
INDIVIDUAL QHSE RESPONSIBILITIES
- To demonstrate strong commitment to the quality of service, including quality of records produced, aiming at meeting and exceeding customer expectations;
- To demonstrate personal commitment to protection of Health, Safety and the Environment;
- To follow company QHSE Policy, relevant operational procedures, HSE procedures and risk assessments;
- To communicate and report on any perceived non-conformances or faults in the service provided or in the companys Quality or HSE Management Systems.

EXPERIENCE / SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE
Essential:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in QC inspection using variety of measuring devices and techniques in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- Strong documentation skills and good working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
Preferred:
- Manufacturing/Quality background in precision machined components
- Warehouse and stock control in a manufacturing environment
- ERP system experience/exposure
TENDEKA COMPETENCE REQUIREMENTS
Throughout the course of employment in the role, the post holder must demonstrate their competence by successfully completing the following Units of Competence within the Tendeka CMS:
- Unit OPS-WKS-A1: Workshop fundamentals
- Unit OPS-WKS-A2: Mechanical Tool build
- Unit OPS-WKS-B1: Wireless/Electronics Tool build
