UK Biobank is seeking an enthusiastic individual to step into the shoes of QA & Test Lead to join them on a mission to improve public health through their biomedical database which contains over 24 petabytes of medical data, stemming from over half a million UK participants.

This role is primarily office based at main offices in Stockport with need for occasional travel to other UK Biobank sites or partner locations. There are some opportunities for remote working. As the QA & Testing Team Lead, you will be focusing on the full software life-cycle, including aspects like the planning and execution of tests and reporting outcomes. You will be facilitating the team's work with the product owners and developers to clarify requirements and ensure quality. You will also lead the implementation and adaptation of testing processes as UK Biobank embark on their digital transformation. In order to excel in this role, you should have demonstrable experience in leading a team in testing and ensuring quality on complex and business-critical systems, with a broad understanding of enterprise web application delivery and proficiency with associated testing methods, tools, and technologies.

Strong communication skills, the ability to deal with a diverse range of technical and non-technical stakeholders, and a team-oriented mindset will all help you achieve great things in this role!
