Studio Gobo is an established AAA games studio, part of the Keywords family. Our team has worked on multiple world class projects for companies such as Guerrilla Games, Arkane, Warner Bros, Ubisoft, Disney and Tencent. As a QA Tester working with the development team you will be responsible for the quality and stability of the title through all stages of development. You will be integrated with development where you will provide direct support to each member of the team which can range from testing new content, providing analysis on issues or addressing errors and maintaining the database.

In addition to providing QA support to development members you will be responsible for communicating game design basics to other offsite test teams to ensure QA understand the functionality and intended design of a feature.

A QA Tester at Studio Gobo...

• Will have a keen interest in computer games with the ability to familiarise themselves with game-play elements quickly.
• Demonstrates excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Has an eye for detail.
• Self-motivated – can work well within a team-oriented environment as well as independently.
• Will work directly alongside the development team to support their QA needs, ensuring relevant parties are kept updated with test progress and issues.
• Will have good IT knowledge, especially of MS Office applications, and the ability to quickly learn new tools.

Things we'd love to see from you…

• Knowledge of the principles of software/game testing – some previous experience in Quality Assurance or within the games industry is beneficial.
• Experience using game engines is helpful but not essential as training will be given.
• A games-related degree or understanding of the different disciplines involved in game development.
• Experience working with both internal and remote teams.
