About our Client
We are recruiting for an international Processing, Supply Chain, Sales and Marketing business operating globally from offices based in 10 countries . The business model is based on developing partnerships with customers and suppliers, assisting them throughout the supply chain to ensure that they work to international standards. Based in the UK at their Head Office but with travel throughout the UK and overseas, the job of Quality Assurance Coordinator to work as a key part of the Technical team to ensure they meet there obligations with regard to quality and food safety
About the Role
- Project specific site visits / Product inspections
- Cold store visits - product inspections
- Product spot checks on supplier/customer
- Managing customer and supplier relationships
- Claims for key accounts
- Managing technical specifications
- Supplier approval and auditing
- Conducting self-audit questionnaires for suppliers
- Internal audits
- Specifications building
- Sample collecting and producing
- Non-conformance reporting and trending
The Ideal Candidate
For this role, you will be ideally educated to a degree level in food science, food technology or a food safety-related discipline. Food-related industry experience (preferably from within the meat industry), Auditing/QA experience and have experience in the BRC audit process.
Willing to travel throughout the UK, and overseas
