QA IT Validation Team Leader
VQ Life Sciences are recruiting for a Permanent QA IT Validation Team Leader based in Nottingham. The QA IT Validation Team Leader is accountable for leading the QA IT Team to ensure all company Quality Critical systems (as defined by GAMP, MHRA, FDA and European legislation) are fully validated and fit for purpose.
The QA IT Team works closely with other IT departments and the business to ensure that validation is maintained throughout the software lifecycle. This role is based on site, but may on occasion, require travel to other locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the QA IT Team to ensure new Quality Critical systems are validated prior to rollout to the business.
- Lead the team to ensure existing Quality Critical systems are re-validated in line with the regulations and local business processes.
- Deliver validation strategies and approaches for validated systems across the company.
- Lead the Validation project aspects of Software rollouts.
- Ensuring the team are seen by the business as testing experts, offering support and advice to the business on testing requirements.
- Provide Validation support for IT audit activities.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Probably with a relevant degree level qualification, or significant, demonstrable, I.T, Business or Quality Assurance experience
- IT SW Testing, significant validation experience and awareness of the GAMP regulations
- GAMP trained.
- Testing experience in a licenced manufacturing environment, particularly Pharmaceutical or Personal Care
- Demonstrable experience of leading teams to deliver complex business system projects.
