Job description
Join the Publix Technology family as a Sr Quality Assurance Engineer on the Marketing Technology team. You will perform quality assurance testing on systems that directly support Publix’s online grocery business. The ideal candidate will be experienced in manual and automated software testing techniques for various types of software components, including APIs, web-based front ends, databases, and batch jobs.

- Work with team to understand requirements and objectives.
- Estimate time required to execute tests.

- Translate requirements to executable test cases.
- Organize test cases into a logical sequence.
- Design and code automated tests.

- Perform manual testing of new features and changes
- Perform manual regression tests of systems to prevent unwanted change.
- Execute suites of automated tests and inspect results.
- Log and document defects.
- Communicate findings to your team.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related analytical discipline, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 4 years of experience performing software testing and quality assurance
- Experience using and writing SQL queries on the Microsoft SQL Server platform to support test activities
- Experience using test management tools (preferably: Microsoft Azure DevOps)
- Experience testing Microsoft Azure solutions
- Experience testing APIs, batch jobs, and web-based front ends
