Quality Assurance Engineer | Worksop South Yorkshire region
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 depending on experience + benefits
McCarthy Adams Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a dynamic and growing SME manufacturing company in the hiring of their Quality Assurance Manager. You will be responsible for supporting the management of customer relationships in all quality matters.
Responsibilities for the Quality Assurance Engineer:
- Create and submit FAIRs as per AS9102.
- Support the creation and submission of PPAP/DVI – PFC, PFMEA, Control plans, MSA, FAIR, capabilities studies, etc.
- Become one of the customer direct contact to resolve quality issues.
- Work with the team towards timely closure of corrective actions for customer returns and internal non-conformances.
- Work with Engineers in developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
- Review new standards and quality requirements as required to ensure compliance to customer and QMS requirements.
- Work with the purchasing department to ensure vendors have the processes and systems necessary to supply products that meet company quality requirements.
- Perform internal audits as per internal, customer and QMs criteria’s.
- Promote continuous improvement.
As the Quality Assurance Engineer Requirements:
You will hold an HNC/HND/Degree related to manufacturing/engineering industry and have experience and knowledge in:
- Generating and submitting PPAP documentations within automotive or aerospace industry
- Generation of FAIR as per AS9102
- The use of 8D methodology
- Internal auditing to ISO9001 or AS9100
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in an applicable Quality/Engineering environment x
- PPAP elements: Flow chart, PFMEA, Control plan, MSA studies, process capability (SPC).
- Quality tools and methodologies i.e. Ishikawa fishbone, 5 whys, SPC, gage RR, 8D
- Creating FAIR as per AS9102
