QA Engineer
J Reddington - South East London
Contract: Permanent
Salary:
Convoys Wharf, Deptford.
Looking for a Setting Out Engineer with a keen eye and experience with temporary works. We're undertaking refurb works to jetty, detailed temp works, bespoke platforms, permits, QA and measuring damages.
Jetty due to finish January 2024, works to continue with piling and reinforcement of the river wall. You can continue on this project, we look to keep our Engineers on and move around to new projects.

About us:
The JRL Group is a leading Construction company that specialises in Main Contracting & RC Frames along with 14+ divisions delivering bespoke solutions for the most complex projects.
Suitable applicants should have proven experience working on busy RC frame based sites and should have been working with sky deck, walls, columns, capping beams and various other forms of shuttering work.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Set out and level the jetty using Topcon- Knowledge of site calibration checks
- Experience with detailed temporary works
- Keen eye for detail with bespoke platforms
- Previous involvement with different types of permits
- Take leadership with Quality Assurance
- Confident to measure any damages
- Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise
- Quality checks
- As-builts
- Oversee some of the document control aspects
- General site duties
Skills & Qualifications:
Must be degree qualified with a Civil Engineering or Construction related degree- 3 years’ minimum experience within a similar role
- Valid CSCS card
- Be able to demonstrate having previously worked on new build residential schemes
