You should be passionate about approaching things differently, while operating like a fintech within a bank. We are not looking for superpowers - we are looking for knowledge, enthusiasm and the right attitude to deliver our global initiative in a lean way.

We are building a new strategic digital business backed by a Global Bank, with the ambition to become the next-generation global fintech solution, supporting the needs of internationally minded customers around the world. With a global footprint, they serve more than 50 million customers worldwide with a complete range of banking and wealth management services, enabling customers to manage their finances and protect and build their financial futures.

Purpose:

We have an aggressive roadmap and we are looking for a creative and curious person with a hands-on mentality, who likes to figure out puzzles and understand the whole picture. We are very keen to take on board a QA Engineer that does not shy away from responsibilities (for ensuring the quality, usability, and performance of our product) and takes great pride in delivering high quality work.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Working closely with a cross functional development team, collaborating with designers, product managers and developers to ensure our product meets the highest standards of quality, reliability and security.
  • Planning and managing all phases of the quality assurance process to develop and execute test plans, identify and isolate defects, file bug reports, and as well as run regression tests for all releases
  • Developing, defining, and maintenance of testing knowledge base, while implementing testing methodologies, strategies, and best practices in the Fintech industry
  • Creating, reviewing, and approving test plans, scenarios, scripts or procedures that contribute to the overall testing framework on our client-server applications on iOS and Android (frontend and/or backend framework)
  • Collaborating with development and product teams to identify and prioritize testing needs and ensure timely delivery of high-quality releases.
  • Identify documentation, isolate, reproduce, and track defects using Jira or similar tools.
  • Manage test data required for the automated test scenarios and support other teams with any test data requirement.
  • Develop and provide testing metrics and reports to effectively communicate test status
Requirements
What we’re looking for:

  • Considerable testing experience with consumer facing mobile applications (both on native iOS and Android applications)
  • Proven experience and expertise in mobile development and delivery experience
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and under pressure
  • High level of proficiency in exploratory testing
  • Ability to take charge of your time and prioritise problems to solve
  • Good communication skills and the will to be part of our team
  • Critical thinking and passion for testing and quality

Even better if you have:

  • Experience in organizing, creating and executing test cases with third party providers (payment/card schemes)
  • Experience working in an Agile development process
  • Up to date understanding of the latest developments in mobile application testing
  • Experience working in a cross functional development team
  • Experience with TestRail or a similar test case management tool
  • Experience with traffic monitoring/interception tools, such as Charles, Fiddler, Burpsuite etc.
  • Experience with writing basic SQL scripts to retrieve and update values in databases
  • Experience conducting analytics and localisation testing
  • Experience working with and testing API’s (Postman)
