About the opportunity
We take pride in developing maintainable software that will drive the hospitality industry to the next level. We really value clean, well-tested code and craftsmanship practices within our Development teams, using modern technologies and code bases you’ll be interacting with C#, Java and JavaScript. With offices in Shrewsbury, Poznań and across Europe you’ll be collaborating with diverse and highly skilled international Engineering and Product teams.
Our products and teams are rapidly evolving with the introduction of new development processes, continuous delivery practices, moving to PaaS cloud solutions, introducing metrics driven development, automating test processes and this is where we’re looking for a skilled QA Engineer to make an impact.
We fully believe in the value that a diverse workforce brings and we are particularly keen to hear from QA Engineers who are from underrepresented communities in Tech. For female QA Engineers this means that you will be joining our growing group of brilliant female Developers, Product Owners and QA Engineers.
What you'll be doing
- Working as a part of the development team to improve quality of our product
- Implementing and maintaining end-to-end automated test cases (JavaScript + Playwright)
- Contributing to CI/CD practices that will enable the team to release with confidence
- Questioning things all the time, thinking about the customer perspective
- Continuously improving our product, processes and tools
About you
- You have 2 years of experience in software development or QA and experience in test automation
- You have strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- You have an experience in manual and automated testing
- You’re hard working and enjoy working independently and as part of a team
- You really enjoy learning and can demonstrate how you've learned new technologies to get better results
- You are a positive and pro-active person; bringing a can-do attitude to your work, showing genuine enthusiasm for your role within the team
- You have good communication skills in English

Personal information about unsuccessful candidates will be held for 12 months after the recruitment exercise has been completed, it will then be destroyed or deleted. We retain de-personalised statistical information about applicants to help inform our recruitment activities, but no individuals are identifiable from that data.
Once a person has taken up employment with Guestline, we will compile a file relating to their employment. The information contained in this will be kept secure and will only be used for purposes directly relevant to that person’s employment. Once their employment with Guestline has ended, we will retain the file in accordance with the requirements of our retention schedule and then delete it.
