General Description
Our core stack is a highly distributed, concurrent system of micro services built on Linux and Windows with Rust, Java, C++ and Python. We use gRPC, Websockets and HTTP for communication. Our applications include processing and generation of audio and video data as well as text adding further challenges to the QA role. As a QA engineer you should be proficient in linux command line tools/bash and python scripting and have a good attention to detail.
A QA Engineer will carry out and automate tests at various stages of integration. You would be closely collaborating with engineers and designers and scientists to carry out experiments, track and report bugs and anomalies.
As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Will work in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high quality test coverage against tight schedules
- Collaborate closely with development, research and design team to build best test scenarios
- Produce and maintain test automation artefacts, API testing framework
- Product testing, test automation, analysis of errors on production systems, bug replication, testing and approval of new functionalities
- Develop test scripts to automate test for the services under the control environment
- Run benchmarking for the services
- Presentation and validation of the results, tracking progress and improvements of the services
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of product testing experience in industry
- Deep knowledge of testing frameworks running in Python and Shell scripting in Linux environment
- Great understanding of TDD and BDD, unit tests, end-to-end tests
- Databases, AWS, Rust and Java are a plus
- Experience with design and execution of test plans
- Troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
- Ability and willingness to conduct manual tests
- Travel to customer sites to aid in onsite testing of our systems on customer infrastructure
- Understanding of the Capability Maturity Model and ISO 9000 Standards
