Are you an experienced Quality Engineer looking for a new rewarding role? At Doncasters we currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Quality Engineer to join our team in Droitwich.
The Role
As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for the quality management system and its improvement. You will take the lead on reducing production defects and promoting a culture of no fault forward, by utilising Six Sigma and Lean tools as well as other techniques such as PFMEA. You will provide quality, technical and operational support to all levels of the business, ensuring product is produced to the requirements of manufacturing processes from new product introduction to post-delivery operations. You will take the lead on the business’ management of non-conformity, ensuring that the processes required to disposition non-conforming products are in place and flawlessly executed including corrective and preventive actions.
The Senior Quality Engineer will use industry standard problem-solving tools and first class influencing and project management skills to lead continuous process and product improvements identified by appropriate data analysis and internal and external audits.
