Job description
QA Automation Engineer
- Building automation test suites and executing them : 60% coding and 40% collaborating with others
- Close collaboration with stakeholders to manage app releases for iOS and Android
- Actively participate in agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning and sprint reviews
- Identify and write acceptance criteria for user stories
- Work with developers, Client and other testers to achieve the common goal of quality software
- Develop and maintain test scenarios/test cases, sets of regression tests
- Automation scripts creation and maintain software testing frameworks
- Contribute to testing process improvement efforts, focusing on test automation tools
- Proactively report test results and blocking points to the stakeholders
- Building automation QA processes on a mobile app from scratch
- Experienced in building mobile automation testing frameworks for native apps using tools like Appium, XCUI Test, XCTest, Espresso or similar
- Experienced with CI/CD tools e.g. Jenkins
- Experienced with tools like Browserstack and Saucelabs
- Comfortable working in agile cross-functional teams working closely with Developers and Product Managers
- Experience with JIRA tracking tool for documenting requirement, test cases and defect management
- Strong background in testing concepts and QA best practices
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- API Testing using POSTMAN
- Experienced in front end/UI automation e.g. Selenium, Cypress
- Flutter Mobile App Development
