About the Job

HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?

Reporting to the Senior Information Services Manager, (as a key member of the Informatics team) you will be fully involved in the continuous improvement and delivery of assured, useful, and informative, high-quality data.

Liaising, documenting data specifications, methods, and processes, creating test scenarios, performing testing, and ensuring it is completed to a consistently high standard.

Focused on producing and delivering consistent, accurate, frequent information that adds value to stakeholders, giving patients access to comprehensive, trustworthy information on quality and price.

Ensuring high quality, meaningful data, analysis, and insights across its healthcare network. Providing engagement and clarity that ultimately helps drive improvement in the sector.

In this context, you work closely and collaborate internally across the organisation, in particular the Analytics Manager and externally.

Collaborating with and working in a close team, working effectively with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.

Demonstrating a keen eye for detail. Someone inquisitive, who identifies discrepancies, interprets answer, asks key questions (How is this helping?) and consistently seeks improvements and fixes.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Taking point on the Data Quality Improvement Programme that has objectives to propel PHIN to an assured level of highly trustworthy information that can be used to drive key decisions.
  • Preparing presentations, reports, and assessment criteria for PHIN’s wider personnel to understand the measures and data quality together with communicating that within the organisation.
  • Establishing yourself as the key relationship owner for the Data Quality improvement initiatives both internally and externally.
  • Making recommendations for optimising the use of all PHIN’s data assets across all its publication and communication channels.
  • Engaging constructively with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders on a range of business sensitive issues.
  • Defining and managing quality metrics from a technical and business level and to help develop producing information on data quality.

  • Proven track record of successful delivery of data quality projects with focus on continued quality and improvement
  • Experience of working with multiple internal and external stakeholders and relevant technologies
  • A self-starter with a focus on delivery
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills,
  • Enquiring and curious thinker who cannot resist an intellectual challenge.
  • Outstanding Report writing
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ambitious, determined, self-motivated alongside being a good team player that enjoys ensuring success as a team.
  • Great organisational skills, someone who thrives on meeting ongoing deadlines.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft (Office) 365 – Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook
  • Strong attention to detail and strong focus on accuracy
  • Can act with limited supervision within own area of responsibility.
