Your Purpose
We’re now looking to recruit a Quality Assurance Technician to join our brilliant Quality Team to deliver an analytical service that fully satisfies the requirements of the World Class Supply Chain Pillar.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out specific processes in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures and Global Standard Methodology.
- Work individually and with others to develop and write Standard Operating Procedures in the instance of new or improved/changed processes.
- Provide training to agreed schedules.
- Maintain your own electrical training requirements.
- Maintain equipment and work area in optimum condition.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive planned maintenance schedule to ensure analytical errors, instrument drift and instrument downtime are avoided.
- Work in both core labs and OPSQC labs
- Ensure optimum performance and world class standard across the department and site.
- Accurately monitor and record information using appropriate systems and techniques.
- Participate in routine meetings to support the daily panel tasting sessions.
- Engage in problem solving to improve department KPIs.
- Use Gage, collaborative and ring analysis data to monitor, identify and correct analytical variance.
About You

- Experience of working in a production laboratory for both physical chemistry and microbiological
- Experience of writing and developing SOP and training these out
- Experience of data interrogation, SPC and root cause analysis
