Quality Assurance Technician
Our client, a leading production company, are in search of an experienced Quality Assurance Technician to join their team in Fermanagh.
Main Responsibilities:
· Actively promote and support Food Safety within the site
· Carrying out checks on products at dispatch, including checks on pallets, build, packaging, temperatures, and labelling and generate the Final Product Release Paperwork
· Monitor and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Quality Practices, to include, record completion, compliance to targets and procedures through documented inspections and auditing
· Undertake routine product assessments as per customer specification
· Carrying out key process checks to ensure product compliance to targets e.g. ingredient checks, weight checks, label checks, OPRP compliance checks etc.
· Collecting shelf- life samples and preparing reports for the Technical Assistant
· Monitor production record sheets for the completion of ingredient and packaging traceability information
· Verify production paperwork and file to SOP
· Highlight and manage non compliances, releasing and holding products as applicable and communicate to line/ production manager
· Participate in shift handover brief and ensure the next shift is provided with any relevant QA / NPD / Production information
Essential Criteria:
· Relevant qualification with proven previous experience of working in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment
· Ability to complete quality paperwork
· Excellent communication both written and verbal
· Excellent time keeping
· Proven ability to manage a team
