Luper is a growing Software and Data Services provider with a mission to create a connected eco-system allowing businesses and people to connect and transact. We are seeking a QA Analyst. Responsible for quality assurance across all of our products, you will work closely with the Tech Lead, Product Owner, Project Manager and Developers to help define and develop web applications that will change the way businesses manage their data and transact.
Essentials
- Experience working within an Agile environment
- Knowledge and experience of QA Strategy, Testing and knowledge of SoftwareDevelopment lifecycle
- Clear communicator (written and verbal) - ability to write test plans and test cases.
- To communicate bugs to developers and other stakeholders
- Creative solving of technical problems - ability to translate technical requirements into test plans
- Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables - ability to find bad defects and bugs quickly
- Knowledge of an issue/defect tracking application, e.g. Jira,
- Knowledge of a software documentation application, e.g. Confluence
Responsibilities
- Design test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures.
- Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers.
- Develop testing programs that address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests, or usability.
- Conduct software compatibility tests with programs, hardware, operating systems, or network environments.
- Design or develop automated testing tools.
- Perform initial debugging procedures by reviewing configuration files, logs, or code pieces to determine breakdown source
- Create BDD test scenarios and execute the test strategy using pre-defined testing methodologies, ensuring that there is traceability between the testing implementation and the requirements / acceptance criteria
- Develop your knowledge - Nurture a genuine interest in our software and keep yourself continually up to date with best practice and innovation in testing
- Continuous improvement - Nurture an ethos of high quality in everything you do and support the team to achieve this across multiple development projects
- Team-player - Take part in our sprint planning and other internal meetings, providing input, suggestions and recommendations as needed
- Collaborate with our internal teams, especially our Product Owner, Development Manager and Business Analyst, to ensure everyone is continually kept up to date

Salary: £22,500.00-£35,000.00 per year
