A Monday-Friday working pattern is just one of the attractions of a PWP lead role with Talking Therapies.
We are looking for a qualified B6 Team Lead Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner to join our friendly team. We cover six localities across the county, all within about 40 minutes of our central hubs in Bracknell and Reading.
**At the moment, we are doing a mix of office and home working, in order to support staff preference and also service need. However your role with cover Reading/WAM localities so your base will be down as: Erlegh House.**
We are an IAPT service that leads on innovation, boasting a new preceptorship programme for our staff, allowing them to have a clear progression plan and develop in their career with us.
- Providing high volume low intensity interventions using cognitive behavioural therapy for mild to moderate anxiety and depression
- Manage the clinical caseloads of qualified and trainee PWPs through case management and clinical supervision, and manage their workloads through Line Management Supervision in order to assist the PWP Team Co-ordinator to manage waiting lists and capacity within the low intensity service.
- Opportunities to support those with long term health conditions and those with employment issues alongside our fantastic employment support team
- Opportunities to support a diverse population of patients
- Facilitating group sessions
- Yearly training opportunities -for example working with long term health conditions. We recently were able to offer four of our qualified PWPs the opportunity to get involved with a brand-new social anxiety training programme
- Post graduate certificate in evidence based psychological treatments (IAPT pathways)
- Registered with BABCP or BPS for PWP Accreditation. (Please note this is now a standard requirement of all IAPT services)https://www.babcp.com/PWP/How-to-apply
- IAPT Supervisor trained
- Car driver
- Willing to work two 12-8pm shifts per week (the rest either 8-4pm or 9-5pm, no late shifts on Fridays)
- One of the only IAPT services to offer a preceptorship programme for career progression
- A leading service on digital therapy. A pilot service for virtual reality for the treatment of phobias and part of the global extemporal programme-instrumental leaders in digital innovation
