Caledonian Recruitment are working exclusively with our Client to recruit a Purchasing Officer.
Purchasing Officer: £33k - £39k DEO
Our client is based in West Molesey, and operate exclusively to the Manufacturing sector, due to continued growth they're recruiting for a Purchasing Officer to Join the Team.
This role is suitable for a Purchasing Officer who has a background within Purchasing or a similar role, you'll work utilising the Companies MRP System in conjunction with Excel [and other MS Office software] to adhere to deadlines, clearly collate, report and Utilise information within purchasing whilst managing the complexity of the purchasing process.
Overall the successful Purchasing Officer will plan, organise and control the purchase of goods and services to support factory operations.
To be considered for this position the Purchasing Officer must
- Have a background within purchasing or in a similar role
- Have a strong knowledge of MRP process
- Be able to use excel with ease
- Have strong and clear communication skills
- Manage multiple tasks effectively
- Be able to effectively manage complexity
- Live within a dail traveling distance from West Molesey
It would be advantageous if the Purchasing Officer has
- A background within manufacturing
- An understanding of application of product within customer process
