Job Title Purchasing Assistant
Main purpose of the job is to assist with the purchasing of goods, materials, services and equipment to support fulfilment of customer orders
Key Responsibilities
Perform your duties as instructed by the relevant team leader, which includes, but is not limited to the following:
- Placing orders and monitoring margins
- Resolving stock delivery issues
- Source quotes for new products
- Work closely with the sales team to achieve customer satisfaction
- Liaise with our manufacturing centre
- Working with our team leaders to achieve daily business requirements
- Work with logistics team to setup collections
- Arrange supplier returns
- Producing reports on a weekly/monthly basis
- Be able to demonstrate high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
- It is essential for candidates to have a good knowledge of standard office IT packages.
Any previous experience of working in a Purchasing environment is desirable.
