Central Supplies is a food distribution business, delivering to Retail, Wholesale & Cash & Carry nationally. The company employs 150 team members.
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager the duties of this varied role include:
1. Assisting the buying team by raising purchase orders and having responsibility of monitoring and forecasting replenishment for key products.
2. Helping to manage the stock control and inventory through the company's stock reconciliation process
3. Other Ad hoc duties relating to replenishment, stock control and progress chasing.
4. Articulating internal/external communicsations relating to availability, shortages and new product launches.
Annual Salary of £24,500 plus Xmas bonus scheme.
Hours of work
8.00am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday, 30 minutes lunch break
25 days holiday to choose, plus 3 bank holidays (Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Day)
The ideal candidate will have:
. Microsoft excel advanced skills and proficiency
. Be able to manipulate analytical and statistical data
· High attention to detail
· Work in a structured way to meet deadlines
· Be able to balance multiple priorties and deliverables
. Use of own initiative and problem-solving skills
· A positive attitude to change and improvement
· The ability to work in a team
Experience in a busy fast paced,dynamic purchasing environment would be advantageous.
