This role is to assist an established Donation Centre team with the day to day operations of the Centre which is located at Fieldhouse Way, S4 7SF. You must be enthusiastic, motivated and be a team player with a can-do attitude. Experience in a retail environment with some managerial responsibilities and an ability to form good relationships with colleagues and volunteers is essential in the role.
This role will support the retail department in its endeavors to raise funds for St Luke's.
Responsibilities will include processing stock donations, providing excellent customer service, and helping to process gift aid to maximise sales. In addition to this, you would be a key holder, and when necessary be responsible for opening and closing the Donation Centre.
A good knowledge of health & safety and an ability to identify potential risks is desirable to maintain safe ways of working.
Flexibility is essential for this post as there will be weekend and possibly evening work required on occasions.
