Comco is currently looking for a motivated, dependable and detail oriented individual to join our team in Saskatoon. As the purchaser/shipper your duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Purchasing parts for our automation systems and specialized equipment
- Building relationships with vendors and obtaining competitive pricing
- Expediting parts delivery
- Receiving parts and managing inventory
- Obtaining shipping quotations
- Preparing customs documentation for cross border shipments
- Shipping parts and automation systems to locations in Canada and the USA
The following attributes and skills are required for this role:
- Good understating of computers and purchasing systems
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
- Being a team player and ability to build good relationships with colleagues, clients, and vendors
- Experience with Quickbooks and international shipping would be an asset
