About the Role

Due to continued growth within the business, we require a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join our growing, friendly team. The working hours will be 37.5 per week Monday to Friday, with daily duties to include, but not limited to:

• Process incoming Purchase Ledger invoices
• Ensure invoices are approved in line with current process policies
• Updating and maintaining accurate financial records on the purchase ledger
• Supplier statement reconciliations
• Support supplier relationships
• Process regular Domestic and International payment runs
• Assist with incoming Finance telephone calls

We are looking for an experienced, motivated individual who is keen to develop with a growing business. Our ideal candidate will have:

Essential

• Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally to an extremely high standard
• Ability to communicate within all levels of the organisation
• Excellent attention to detail
• Previous experience working in a finance department
• Ability to work on own or part of a team and to strict deadlines
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft packages including Excel & Outlook

Desirable:

• Experience using Epicor System or ERP systems
• Previous experience working with international suppliers
• Completed or working towards AAT qualification
