About the Role
Due to continued growth within the business, we require a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join our growing, friendly team. The working hours will be 37.5 per week Monday to Friday, with daily duties to include, but not limited to:
- Process incoming Purchase Ledger invoices
- Ensure invoices are approved in line with current process policies
- Updating and maintaining accurate financial records on the purchase ledger
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Support supplier relationships
- Process regular Domestic and International payment runs
- Assist with incoming Finance telephone calls

We are looking for an experienced, motivated individual who is keen to develop with a growing business. Our ideal candidate will have:
Essential
- Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally to an extremely high standard
- Ability to communicate within all levels of the organisation
- Excellent attention to detail
- Previous experience working in a finance department
- Ability to work on own or part of a team and to strict deadlines
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft packages including Excel & Outlook
Desirable:
- Experience using Epicor System or ERP systems
- Previous experience working with international suppliers
- Completed or working towards AAT qualification
