UK based precision engineering company based in Brighouse, supplying parts to customers all over the world for over 25 years
The role will include talking to customers and suppliers, producing detailed quotations for new products, processing customer orders, ordering material, and planning production, as well as other activities as required from being part of a small office team.
This is a busy role within the company.
The ideal candidate will be well computer literate, organised, work well with others, be able to communicate with customers, suppliers, and production staff.
A working knowledge of Sage is essential for the role and coming from an engineering or manufacturing background would be an advantage.
· Building good working relationships with customers, suppliers and staff alike
· Full order management, focusing on order processing
· Understanding the needs and expectations of the customers and keeping updated on their orders
· Purchasing material to fulfil the sales orders
· Effective handling of incoming calls and emails into the business
· Maintaining accurate records
· Inputting all completed information into Sage
· Attending weekly team meetings and sharing best practice with colleagues across the business
· Clear, concise, and professional customer communication, both written and oral
· Supporting the production team on any customer-related tasks
· Completing all general administration duties that the business may require, where possible, across all departments, with the primary focus on supporting the customer
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £11.00-£14.00 per hour
