Prima Cheese Limited at Seaham, County Durham, are seeking a Purchase ledger Clerk to complete the day to day running of the ledger.
The ideal candidate will contribute to the department generally, taking an active part in meetings. They will have the ability to get on with colleagues and clients, understanding their business and its requirements. They will have a general understanding of both the individual departments and overall, Company objectives and provide support to the senior management in achieving those objectives. They must always promote a favourable image of the Company.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Processing invoices and credit notes
- Liaising with suppliers for queries and reconciliations
- Supplier account creation and maintenance
- Manage and process credit cards and expenses
- Preparation of monthly and weekly reports
- Assist with the month end procedure
- Daily Bank reconciliations and revaluation
- Prepare BACS and International payments for authorisation
- Preparation of stock sheets for stock valuation
- Maintenance of the archive and its record
- Assist with year-end audit as required
Experience
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- You’ll have excellent communication skills, verbally and written
- Confident, enthusiastic individual with the ability to manage all relationships with suppliers and internal contacts
- Must be capable of working with attention to detail and accurately
- Tasks and project work
- AAT Level 2 required, or equivalent and at least 1 year’s finance experience
