Due to a retirement, we have a rare opportunity for a Purchase Ledger & Cashier Clerk to join our professional & supportive Accounts team of three. This office-based role is offered on a permanent basis, 30 to 35 hours per week, across 5 days, pay depending on experience and hours.
The ideal candidate will have previous ledger experience and with a mature outlook :-
- Good attention to detail to help keep our finances organised and secure.
- Comfortable with using various IT systems for a multi-departmental organisation
- Handling small volumes of cash
- Able to prioritise/organise their own workload
- Basic mathematics required
Purchase Ledger involves
- Coding, matching, checking and posting of all purchase invoices using SAGE 50
- Checking & reconciling statements
- Prioritising & collating all supplier payments and ensuring ledger is updated
- Dealing with supplier enquiries
- Setting up new supplier accounts & maintaining existing account details
Cashiering involves
- Reconciling & recording of all till receipts
- Petty Cash & Till float management
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 35 per week
Salary: £19,613.00-£20,845.00 per year
