Purchase Ledger/Admin Assistant

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced part-time Purchase Ledger/Admin assistant to join a long established cleaning company in Leamington Spa on a permanent basis between 25-30 hours per week, flexible hours and salary to be confirmed.

Applicants must have proven relevant experience together with a good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.

We offer a generous base holiday allowance of 25 days plus bank holidays and reward long serving employees with additional days.

Due to the remote location of the office please ensure you are able to commute as we are not on a direct bus route.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF PURCHASE LEDGER/ ADMINISTRATOR

General

· Answer the telephone, pass on messages and sort out queries together with other members of the office team.

· Follow up any emails regarding any queries.

· Other jobs as requested by the management team from time to time.

PURCHASE LEDGER

Imputting Invoices/Credit Notes onto Purchase Ledger

Adding/Checking Standing Orders/Direct Debits

Check Purchase statements against ledger

Create end of month supplier BACS payments

Reconcile Petty Cash

Reconcile Staff expenses and Credit card expenses

AREA MANAGER ORDERS

Imput relevant Area Manager orders on the correct weeks

Check materials/consumables in shed if need stock ordered

KEY SKILLS

  • Good communication skills
  • Microsoft Office – Word and Excel
  • Ledgers (Bespoke system, training will be given)
  • Attention to detail
