Candidate Profile
As part of the UK Construction (UKC) Public Sector team, we are looking for an individual who is keen to provide a high quality and proactive generalist support to the wider Public Sector Leadership and Framework teams. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, have excellent communication skills, be thorough, organised, and have an ability to think on their feet. We are looking for someone who is passionate about understanding public sector procurement and who will be able to engage with internal stakeholders to help to support our team across national and regional frameworks.
Job Purpose
Supporting the UKC Public Sector team to assist in monitoring and managing our key framework positions in various regions across the UK. The role will support the development, delivery, and reporting on national and regional frameworks working closely with our four sector directors for defence, education, health and justice as well as the Head of Strategic Account Management.
The role will also involve working closely with construction project teams, clients, community partners and our supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
Support other Framework Managers with operational client liaison activities
Actively participate in client liaison meetings discussing projects and programmes of work.
To act as an ambassador for ISG Construction and the wider ISG Group, attending events, conferences, training sessions etc as required.
Support professional-standard marketing, communication and social media activities to promote our public sector framework to potential and existing clients
Assist our Frameworks Teams in reporting on new business, pipeline status, market movements, client challenges and emerging opportunities
Use of digital systems and technology, including Microsoft Dynamics/CRM, to ensure that all relevant client data, conversations and information are captured and kept up to date
Develop and maintain a strong level of knowledge in public sector services, policies, procurement and funding arrangements
Contribute to wider engagement activities such as client seminars and focus groups, market awareness events and other engagement as required
Work with the colleagues across the business to understand, track and report on the delivery of active projects and future project pipeline
Support the strategic work win function in providing bid support on framework rebids and programmes of work arising from our core sectors
The individual will also be encouraged and supported to identify and deliver initiatives which they have a particular interest in, we are keen to encourage innovation and personal development.

Entry Criteria
Suitable qualifications might include – a minimum achievement of a 2:2 Degree in Business Studies, Business Administration, Marketing, Global Business, Economics or similar. We are looking for someone who is passionate about learning about public sector construction frameworks and public procurement but most of all wants to work with a varied team of people with who they can grow their knowledge and expertise in the innovative construction sector.
