Job description
The public health and wellbeing team seeks to appoint experienced and capable Support Officer. The post holder will be expected to provide a range of administrative support to the public health and wellbeing team as well as the Service Lead and Service Director.
The post holder will support the commissioning of a range of public health services and will include work on specific projects such as business planning, financial administration, communications and campaigns.
You will be the first point of contact for the public health and wellbeing team, communicating effectively with the public, local authority officers, elected members, NHS and voluntary and community sector partners.
You will need to possess excellent organisational skills and able to prioritise work to ensure the service plays its part in the delivering the council strategy and health and wellbeing strategy.
