Job description
This is a training post which is fully funded through Health Education England and will be paid at Mid-point band 5 on the Agenda for Change Pay Scale.
The Rotherham 0-19 community services and Sheffield Hallam University welcome applicants for the Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (Health Visiting and School Nursing route) commencing September 2023 subject to funding from Health Education England. This is a fixed term contract for 52 weeks.
We are looking to appoint five enthusiastic and well-motivated applicants for the 52-week course. (Three Health Visitor and Two School Nurse Students) You will study at Sheffield Hallam University at either level 6 or level 7 academically.In practice you will be supported by experienced mentors and a community practice educator.
Successful applicants need to be able to commence this post week beginning 4th September 2023 so will need support from their current line manager to release them for this date.
