Job description
Located just 5 minutes from Horwich Parkway training station with 125 bedrooms and fully integrated into the University of Bolton Stadium, home of Bolton Wanderers Football Club Bolton Stadium Hotel (formerly Bolton Whites Hotel) is a state of the art conference and exhibition centre with a difference, offering flexibility to hold meetings, events and exhibitions from 2 to 3000.
We now have an exciting opportunity for friendly and enthusiastic individuals with a passion for hospitality to join our friendly and customer focused team in supporting us to deliver a seamless experience within our Public Area Cleaning team as a Public Area Cleaner.
Your key responsibilities will be to work with the current team members within the Hotel to ensure you are:
- Maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, tidiness and hygiene in all the allocated public areas of the Hotel and Stadium by strict adherence to prescribed cleaning procedures and schedules.
- Servicing all stadium public areas, including; all function suites, executive boxes, corridors, staircases and toilets and ensuring high levels of attention to detail and professionalism.
- To have good attention to detail at all times when completing cleaning duties and promote high cleaning standards through best practice
- As a person, you will have self motivation and the drive to ensure cleaning standards are of the highest possible level.
- Before the end of each shift you will ensure all areas of responsibility are cleaned and maintained to an acceptable standard and they are suitably prepared for guest use, and that if there are any issues that prevent this they are reported to the manager on duty so an attempt to solve any issues prior to you leaving.
- You will be fully flexible with hours as you will be expected to work some night shifts as per the weekly rota. You will have opportunity to discuss the actual working hours at interview stage.
