Hourly Paid Assistant Instructors in Public Services
(Walking/Climbing/Kayaking/Canoeing)
Between £14.18 to £15.45 per hour including holiday pay
(subject to qualifications and experience)
We are seeking a highly motivated individual with appropriate experience to support in the delivery within Public Services Courses at Herefordshire & Ludlow College. The hours will be 8:45 – 4:45 on weekdays. The role offers up to 50 days work per academic year, depending upon qualifications and experience. These days will be shared out accordingly. We are looking to build a strong, consistent team, to ensure we maintain a high standard of delivery for our students.
The successful candidate will need to have a background of Public/Protective Services or Instructing in the Outdoors, and must hold a current 16 hr First Aid Certificate, clear DBS and a minimum of one or more (or equivalent), from the following:
Walking Group Leader, Paddle Sport Award, Personal performance awards in Canoe, Kayak and/or SUP, Safety and Rescue Award, LCMLA and Climbing Wall Instructor.
Highly Desirable is a clean driving licence, your D1 award and any military or cadet training experience.
