Job description
Shepherd Neame is looking for a Chef to join our team, so if you are a new or aspiring chef looking for a fresh challenge and to carve out your career in the kitchen; this may be just the job for you.
Our kitchen in only small, and located at the rear of the pub. You would be working directly with the General Manager and working mostly alone. The pub is open for regular trade Monday to Friday, we do also occasionally open for private hire on the weekends, where you may be required to work.
This role is perfect for someone who can work by themselves and get stuck in.
The White Horse & Bower is a friendly local in the heart of London and close to the Houses of Parliament in Westminster. It is a short walk from Victoria Station, St James' Park and London’s famous Tate Britain so we have a very diverse customer base and a warm welcome together with great food and drink is on offer to all when you arrive.
We know that excellent chefs are the key ingredient to a successful kitchen, so this role will see you working as part of our friendly and supportive kitchen team to deliver a great dining experience to our customers.
Previous catering experience would be beneficial however if you haven’t got experience please do not worry, so long as that you love food, are confident, motivated and are a great team player, we can train you and teach you everything else that you will need to know.
