Lambert Sports Clinic is seeking a dedicated professional to join our team on a part-time basis, offering psychotherapy and counselling services once a week.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individual psychotherapy and counselling sessions to clients, addressing their emotional and mental well-being.
- Assess clients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments, including intake interviews and mental health evaluations.
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to support clients in managing their concerns, such as anxiety, stress, trauma, and relationship issues.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records, including progress notes and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care for clients.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in the field of psychotherapy and counselling through professional development and training opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree (or equivalent) in Psychotherapy, Counselling, or a related field.
- Relevant licensure or certification as a Psychotherapist or Counsellor.
- Experience in providing psychotherapy and counselling services to individuals across various age groups.
- Strong knowledge and application of evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish a therapeutic alliance with clients.
- Empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental approach to supporting clients.
- Proficient computer skills and ability to maintain accurate electronic records.
- Adherence to professional ethics and confidentiality guidelines.
