Job title: Teaching Assistant

Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for enthusiastic Psychology graduates and students, to work as Teaching Assistants in our primary schools in Swindon. The roles can be on both a part and full-time basis depending on your availability and other commitments, it may be as a General TA or involve working 1:1 or in small groups with children who have additional needs. Pay rate is between £70 and £85 per day

The schools we work with cater for pupils in Primary ages and they urgently require large number of temporary staff with a Psychology background to work as Teaching Assistants with their pupils to enable their learning and emotional support in and outside the classroom. To be considered for these temporary roles the ability to engage and build rapport with children is essential. If you currently study psychology or a related degree or have experience working in Psychology, Mental health, Neuroscience/Counselling and can use your understanding of child psychology, emotional development, and various psychological and special educational needs, please contact us immediately as we have a huge demand from our schools for Teaching assistants with these skills.

We are looking for:

• Experience working with primary aged pupils (preferable)
• Someone who can communicate effectively & is confident working with children
• An enthusiastic individual who is passionate about helping kids and a willingness to learn on the job
