Job description
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly capable assistant psychologist to gain valuable experience evaluating aspects of the new Community Mental Health Transformation Programme (CMHTP) under the supervision of a Consultant Clinical Psychologist within Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (SABP).
The positions are fixed term, for 6 months and will support the evaluation of various aspects of the programme that works with people experiencing complex mental health needs in the community. The post holder will also be able to work clinically for part of their role within either our GP Integrated Mental Health Teams (GPimhs) and/or HomeFirst initiatives.
We are seeking someone who is highly motivated and who can work flexibly to meet the needs of the service. It is expected that applicants will have a solid understanding of audit and service evaluation and excellent academic writing.
We have three vacancies for Band 4 Assistant Psychologists based within:
- East Surrey and Surrey Downs: based at Horizon Centre, K17
- North West Surrey: based at Unither House, Chertsey, KT16
- Frimley South: based at Theta, GU16
The post-holder will be required to work flexibly within their respective area with a mix of face to face and virtual working and attendance at Trust HQ in Leatherhead as required.
