Job Description Are you a Clinical Psychologist seeking a new challenge? Do you have previous experience working with Adults suffering with Mental Health issues? Service Care Solutions are working with our established client to recruit an experienced Clinical/Counselling/Forensic Psychologist for a 12-month Fixed Term . The candidate should be able to oversee a range of highly specialist psychological interventions for individuals and different teams. The candidate will start their journey in a recently renovated service. Our client is established with a network of over 90 services across the UK. They provide support within Mental Health, Neurological, Learning Disabilities and Autism, Children and Education. The client offers training opportunities and regular clinical supervision. Job Purpose: Head of Psychology (Adults) Temp/Perm: (12 Month Fixed ) Salary: £67,600 - £72,800 + £250 SCS Welcome Bonus Location: Ebbw Vale, Monmouthshire (Wales) Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00 : 37.5 hours per week | Part-Time will be considered Key Responsibilities: Support the Rehabilitation, Acute and Eating Disorder services for adults with mental health conditions Provide the highest standard of evidence-based psychological assessment and interventions by working within a supervisory capacity in the hospital. Support clinical team working, including direct interventions, consultation and the delivery of staff training programmes. Support and develop a team of in-training Psychology staff Support the clinical team and service in developing new initiatives and ways of working. To ensure clear systems are in place to process and manage new referrals/admissions. Supervise members of the psychology department and other professionals as required.
