Job description
We are pleased to invite applications for a Band 5 Assistant Psychologist to join our team. This will be a fixed-term post for a year.
We are an outpatient service, supporting children and young people with fatigue, and their families. We deliver treatments aimed at managing symptoms, reducing the impact of health conditions on the young person's life, and addressing related emotional health needs as appropriate. We liaise with other services surrounding the young person including schools and CAMHS.
We offer regular supervision, MDT case discussions and peer supervision. We hold regular team meetings, and work closely with colleagues in research at the Universities of Bristol and Bath.
Experience managing children with ME/CFS is not essential, as training will be given as well as regular supervision. If you are interested in finding out more about this opportunity, please do contact us at: 01225 821340 or via email to [email protected].
Please be advised that applications for this post may close early if a large number of submissions are received.
We expect a high number of submissions and therefore it is essential that applications are tailored to the job description, with information on how you meet the criteria. We will be unable to shortlist applications that are not tailored to the job details.
