Recently awarded the No.1 Best Large Company to work for in the UK 2022 and due to exciting growth plans we've created a brand-new position for a Property Project Manager to join our growing team at Hickory's Smokehouse.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the agreed budget and timeline.
Responsibilities:
- Be part of the creation and implementation of project briefs for new openings as well as refurbishments of the current estate
- Work with internal and external team, contractors and suppliers on the specification and works for new openings and refurbishments
- Oversee the creation of budget development cost plans for approval
- Mobilise external design teams in preparation of pre-construction design information
- Manage the detailed design process including coordination with operators
- Distribute information to contractors, suppliers, and QS for pricing
- Organise and chair pre-opening meetings for design, contractor, and stakeholders
- Manage health and safety works with principal designer and main contractor
- Regularly inspect and manage on site works and provide updates and minutes to all parties involved
- Coordinate handover to operations team in a timely manner
- Manage post project snagging
- Review and agree final accounts with all parties
You will need:
- High level of energy, resilience, self-motivated and target driven
- Strong IT knowledge
- Excellent time management and project management skills; able to work to tight deadlines and under pressure
- Strong negotiation skills
- Able to influence and build good relationships with people
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
2. Strong business acumen in project planning and management
3. Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
