Job description
About the Role:
As Property Manager, you will be responsible for providing first-class service in actively managing the Society’s trading and non-trading property portfolios to maximise income and minimise costs.
The right candidate may expect to:
- Work with internal departments to ensure the smooth and efficient handover of former trading units into the Non-Trade portfolio
- Manage the Society’s dilapidation requirements in a cost-efficient manner
- Assist, input and help maintain the Property database to ensure accurate information is used to efficiently run the Property Management/Finance functions
- Assess the Landlord and Tenant requirements (including maintenance issues) for properties within your portfolio, resulting in a course of action where necessary
- Ensure that forthcoming rent reviews and lease renewals are communicated effectively, managed efficiently and in a financially viable manner to reduce the Society’s overheads wherever possible
- Analyse and ensure property outgoings are correct, including service charges, and dispute where necessary

This role is part of a team based from our Head Office in Warwick, with a mix of working from home and in the office.

About You:
To be successful in this role you will need:- Commercial Property background and a member of the RICS (preferred)
- Solid knowledge of the commercial legal framework to ensure compliance with all health and safety & legal requirements.
- Strong knowledge of property law
- Ability to travel
