We are currently seeking a dynamic Property Manager to join our team at Brand Vaughan. In this varied role, you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of properties, including involvement in the administration/arrangements, maintenance, repairs and overall compliance of the Short-term Rental portfolio. Your time will be divided between two of our Brighton & Hove offices.

Location - Intergen House, Western Road & The Marina, The Waterfront
Hours - Monday to Friday 9am – 6pm (Every other Saturday 9am - 3pm)
Salary - £22,000 - £24,000 p/a, commensurate with experience

Responsibilities & duties
- Handling Short-term bookings, administration / arrangements and compliance
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with Landlords and Tenants.
- Respond to enquiries promptly and professionally.
- Oversee property maintenance and repairs, including coordinating with contractors and tenants.
- Manage the check-out and deposit return process in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Ensure that properties are ready for occupation by organising any necessary works in advance of the move-in date.
- Load contractor invoices onto the system ready for payment.
- Develop and implement property improvement plans to maximise property value and profitability.
- Take full ownership of ensuring that your assigned portfolio complies with all relevant legislation and safety requirements, including Gas Safety/CO Alarms, EICR, EPC, and HMO regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments within the company, such as front office lettings and accounting, to ensure smooth operations.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulations, and make recommendations for process improvements.
- Carry out ad hoc projects and tasks as assigned by management, in a timely and efficient manner.
- Assist with Key Collection Arrangement
Personal qualities & behavioural traits
- Prior experience in property management is preferred, but not essential.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Positive and proactive attitude, with strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to organise and prioritise tasks and responsibilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Computer literate and comfortable using a suite of software used to carry out and manage daily responsibilities
