Property Management Assistant
We are seeking an Assistant for our property business and letting agency. We operate several holiday let apartments and Houses of Multiple Occupancy (HMOs) throughout the city. As the business expands we require a personal assistant to carry out cleaning inspections following turnovers of holiday let apartments, regular inspections of long-term let properties, coordination of maintenance and online marketing activities.
This is a varied role working with a thriving small business, one that will be rewarding for the right applicant with opportunities for progression as the business grows.
In your role as Property Management Assistant, you will be responsible for inspecting and reporting any damage or maintenance issues following each stay/turnover at each of the holidays let apartments that we manage as well as carrying out compliance-related inspections and property inspections. Travel is required between properties within Edinburgh and the workload can be self managed. The ideal candidate can schedule and prioritise their workload.
Key Duties include;
- Quality assurance and inspection of holidays let turnovers/cleaning with an emphasis on high quality, efficient service.
- Assist with property inspections to ensure compliance with all Health & Safety, and Fire Regulations and procedures.
- Ensure the highest standards of service are given at all times
- Assist with online marketing campaigns and respond to customer queries
- Other duties associated with the day to day running of a property management company as requested by management

Key Skills and Experience include;
- Experience, preferably in the hospitality industry desired but not essential
- Self-motivated and have the ability to prioritise work
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and willing to travel between various properties within Edinburgh as required
Job Types: Part-time, Internship
Salary: £10.00-£12.00 per hour
