Salary: HC07 £27,852 to £32,020 per annum

Herefordshire Council is looking to recruit a Property Information Officer to join a professional and passionate team. We have an exciting journey ahead to reinvigorate property management across the Council.
Estates offers professional support for all council owned land, property, compensation and valuation matters for all projects. We also support the delivery of a professional land and estate management service including the acquisition, letting and disposal of land and property.
While working in multi-functional team your estates record management knowledge and expertise will ensure that we have accurate and up to date property information in order to assist in the management of our diverse functional land portfolio and that we are protected organisationally from financial and reputational risks associated with estates matters.
You will maintain, improve, interrogate our paper property records and prepare these for digitisation/scanning. This will involve the interpretation of legal documents/deeds/tenancies and so a knowledge of land law or professional estate management experience is desirable.
We need someone who has experience of working on their own initiative, with different service teams and occupants;. We want someone who understands property management from the bottom up- You’ll need to understand and have experience of all aspects of property and asset management and how they fit together.
