This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a part time role within the property industry, in a company with a long-standing reputation in the area. This position is two days/week, in the office.
You will need to be well-organised with a can-do attitude, interested in learning and enjoy being part of a close-knit team, although at times you will need to work independently. We are looking for a real team player who will support all our operations in order for the team to achieve the business’ goals. This will include duties outside of core responsibilities, as required.
You do not necessarily need to have experience in the property industry but a strong interest and a willingness to learn is required.
Duties will include:
- Assisting in the Onboarding of new tenants, and liaising with existing tenants
- Ensuring all regulatory compliance checks are completed, and our internally systems updated in a timely manner
- Co-ordinating matters between maintenance team and tenants
- Inputting relevant data into the property management tool in an accurate and timely manner
- Assisting the team with check-outs across the portfolio.
- Liaising with Accounts team regarding rent arrears and credit control
- Assisting and managing property utilities and recharges
- Ordering materials for the maintenance team, and updating data
- General support of the wider office with reporting requirements, office administration, general enquiries.
- Other adhoc duties, as required.
Skills & experience required:
- Previous property management experience desirable
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work on own initiative, as well as part of a team
- Flexible, adaptable nature with the ability to work under pressure, in a calm manner
- Excellent IT knowledge with experience of using Microsoft Office packages – experience of using Landlord Vision an advantage but not essential
- Driving licence and own car essential.
