Carter Brown is seeking an experienced Proof Reader to join our Quality Assurance team.
This is a hybrid role, offering fantastic flexibility, working Monday to Friday 9-5 from our Mansfield office or your home, plus a brilliant package and perks! Our team currently work two days in the office and the remainder of time at home.

What it takes to be a Proof Reader:
These will consist of psychological, psychiatric, paediatric, and social work reports for use within family and criminal law proceedings; our experts also complete assessments for local authorities, organisations, and individuals.

If you have a good eye for detail and enjoy working autonomously and as part of a team, this could be the role for you.
You'll enjoy reading and supporting our experts to deliver the best-written reports possible through constructive feedback.
Full training and ongoing support is provided.
You will be responsible for reviewing the reports and ensuring that experts file their reports to the Quality Assurance team within agreed timescales and in the correct Carter Brown format.
You will be liaising with internal and external stakeholders via email and telephone, therefore, will be required to conduct yourself professionally throughout.
You will be expected to provide feedback, both in writing and over the telephone, regarding the content of the report, the style of writing and the accuracy of the information.
We make use of the full Microsoft suite and will require a basic - advanced level of experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams. You'll need to be confident and proficient in using these programs and in dealing with stakeholders at all levels.
Due to the nature of the role Carter Brown is seeking an individual who will work within GDPR guidelines at all times and keep confidentiality at the fore when working on any of the allocated reports.

Salary: £19,000.00-£22,000.00 per year
